[h]The Hamburg Port Party is simply the biggest party in Northern Germany[/h]

[Approx. 1.5 million spectants are joining in to this spectacular three-days event in Hamburg. The area around Harbor-city is filled up with windjammers, nostalgic vessels and an uncounted number of larger and smaller boats joining in to the celebration parade.

But also the air will be filled up with party-guests. Lots of aircraft on their way from or to Hamburg are parading by. Helis, general aviation aircraft, even balloons and nostalgic props with and without floats are to be seen along the party mile.

And YOU can celebrate the Hamburg Port Party, too!
VATSIM Geramany invites you to the virtual party flyin on Sunday, 8th May 2011.

• EDDH is on duty for at least five hours (16:00 - 21:00UTC). Fully staffed and extra frequencies open. So, you may bring the participants to the party-zone. Also longhaul-flights are more then welcome. We will be online just for YOU!
• VFR-pilots: You may join in in our special control-zone in and around the birthday-mile.
• IFR-pilots: You may request a low pass inside the Harbor zone when flying from or to EDDH and you may enter our special control-zone covering the birthday-mile. This will give you the rare chance to enjoy the fantastic Hamburg City freeware scenery
