VATSIM Scandinavia welcomes the world's pilots to one of the largest events of the year in the far north. For 8 hours on 19 November starting at 14:00z, our controllers will light up the Bridge between Continents, covering all the airspace between Scandinavia & North America and the North Atlantic all the way to the North Pole. That's over 5.5 million square kilometres to fly over!

Contrast fiery volcanoes and black lava fields with glaciers and sparkling fjords in Iceland. Watch that speck of land grow larger and larger as you approach the secluded Faroe Islands in the middle of the North Sea. Or head over vast frozen landscapes to some of the remotest airports in Greenland. Who knows, you might even spot the elusive Northern Lights?

In addition to a fully staffed Keflavik our friends at VATSIM UK will be online at Edinburgh to give you a good chance to have ATC coverage from your departure all the way to landing.

This year, the focus will be on our main airport Keflavik (BIKF).

As always please visit our website for briefing, charts and scenery suggestion.

We hope to see you flying into Keflavik 19 November!
