VATSIM UK and the Essex Regional Training Scheme are proud to announce this years \"Stansted Real Ops!\".
This time, 20 years ago, Stansteds first terminal was opened, handling just over 200 000 passengers a year. 20 years later, Stansted is now the third busiest airport in the United Kingdom serving over 28 millions passengers as well as ferrying 192 000 tonnes of cargo per year.
Stansted is also home to over 40 airlines travelling to a staggering 140 plus destinations - you really are spoiled for choice!
On Saturday 16th April 2011, between 1500z - 2200z, we welcome everyone to come and join us, as we jump in to reality and hold the ultimate real operations event, with every ATC position manned - from \"Stansted Delivery\" to \"London Control\".
