Building on the great success of the Winter Escape 2011, VATEG, along with VATRUS, ROvACC and VACC-CZ would like to invite you to the Sun Seekers 2012: Part 1 event!
Fly from the freezing cites of Prague, Czech Republic (Praha Ruzyne - LKPR), Moscow, Russia (Sheremetyevo - UUEE) and Bucharest, Romania (Henri Conada - LROP) to the sunny golden beaches of Hurghada (HEGN) and Sharm El Shiekh (HESH) on Saturday, January 7th, 2012 and enjoy FULL ATC presence!
Both pilots and controllers will be put to test during the event, when all 6 routes join each other over Antalya VOR in Turkey and during the approach of the mountain-surrounded airports of Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh.
Please note that 04L/22R is the only active runway in HESH, offering a VOR/DME approach. On the other hand, Hurghada offers an ILS approach.
