POZOR VŠEM !!! Toto je první letošní event VACC-CZ.
Již příští pátek (5.9.2014). Protože v Ohridu není pokrytí radarem, je to ideální příležitost pro všechny procvičit si let při procedurálním řízení.
Původní idea Makedonců byla taková, že mají málo provozu a žádali VACC-CZ, aby jim na jejich páteční event poslal nějaké piloty. Vysvětlila jsem jim, že takhle jim tam od nás těžko někdo poletí. Takže jsme se dohodli, že uděláme společný event Makedonie-Praha. Makedonci přislíbili, že všechny piloty, které mají, pošlou do Prahy. Doufám, že se nenecháme zahanbit a poletí vás co nejvíc.

Dear pilots and ATCs, this time we bring you more fun:
Flying to Ohrid (LWOH) with Procedural Control - there is no radar!
"No radar" means that controller does not have a radar screen and he will not be able to see you until you reach the vicinity of the Tower! This will require more skill and attention from both pilots and Ohrid tower controller.
For full event enjoyment, start from Praha (LKPR) and fly to Ohrid, Macedonia (for non-radar Procedural Control)
or Praha to Skopje (in case you prefer usual traffic control).
Do not hesitate to start from Skopje or Ohrid and make two-way flight to LKPR, too!
Full ATC coverage is provided at LKPR/LKAA, LWOH and LWSK/LWSS.
Also expect ATC coverage along the route too.
Event starts on Friday, September 5th at 1700z. Latest expected time for ATC to be still online is 2100z;
As on every Friday, MACvACC team at Skopje will stay even longer...
For shorter flights, you could choose some of the countries closer to Macedonia - Serbia, Montenegro,
Greece, Bulgaria; but we can not guarantee the ATC coverage over there.
Another fun route would be to fly a realy short "hop" from Skopje to Ohrid, which is some 70nm,
with ecstatically simple route (LWSK SID PEP STAR LWOH) and full ATC along that route.
Macedonia Ultimate VFR scenery in combination with fantastic over-the-lake approach at Ohrid (LWOH),
will make this flight realy something to remember!
