On Sunday 9th December from 18:00Z until 22:00Z East Midlands Airport (EGNX) will be fully staffed from Ground (GND) to Approach (APP) for \"Fast4ward 2012\"
2 days of flights have been crammed into the space of 4 hours. Real world procedures will be used to create as close to the real atmosphere as is possible in our virtual skies. With over 75 movements in 4 hours, the airport will be at its maximum capacity.
East Midlands is a hive of activity for one of Europe\'s main low-cost airlines - Ryanair plus all three of the UKs Charter Airlines. It\'s also a major hub for some of the world\'s biggest cargo airlines making it the 2nd busiest freight airport in the UK!

If there isn\'t a flight that suits you, don\'t worry you can still fly! Just appear on a stand or fly in and our controllers will be happy to accept you regardless.
We kindly ask passenger airlines to load on the Central and Central West apron. Cargo airlines to use both the West and East apron. And for General Aviation to use the aprons along taxiway M.
So join us on the evening of the 9th of December as we hope to light up East Midlands!
