Dear Pilots and Controllers,

Many of you have asked us about a possibility to say your farewells to our deceased member and friend Udo Wotzka.

Udo\'s homebase and airport where he controlled most of his time was Lüneburg (EDHG) and as a ambitious VFR-Pilot and former trainer for the PTD, he would have surely wanted to be seen off at his favorite place.

We would like to invite you to depart from Lüneburg under VFR (Z-Flightplan possible) to a field of your choice. We will also staff Wangerooge (EDWG), which is the homebase for the FriesenFlieger VA, of which Udo was a co-founder and long-time member.

I am sure many of you will have your own way to say goodbye to Udo, but in case you are at a loss for words, you can join us on our final goodbye for Udo with a remark in your flightplan: RMK/Fly-Safe-Udo
