Ahoj, koukal jsem letmo na mapy, a není mi moc jasný, jak bych se zařadil do racetracku, abych mohl přistát ILS RWY18 v situaci, kdy bych přilítal přes IAF Riga (letištní DVOR/DME), Poraďte pls...

Luboš Kučera, when RWY 18 is in use and you fly the STAR which it ends over the RIA VOR, you can use teardrop approach. But most believable that you will get vectors from STAR inbound intersection or after STAR intersection dct RIA for a while and then vectors.

And i didnt really understood the question about holding. If you have questions, leave them in this topic and i will answer.

thanks for your reply, I supposed teardrop could have been one of the possibilities but wasn´t sure because it wasn´t shown in the chart. I would also expect vectors however wanted to know how to fly the approach correctly in case there is no controller online.
Regarding the holding it actually wasn´t a question but a suggestion, that the entry to the racetrack would be the same as the entry to holding pattern. I expected someone to confirm or disapprove the idea.

Tak mě to nějak zaujalo a zaletěl jsem si to tam dneska obhlídnout a moc pěkný to tam je landing na 18 přes moře a luxusní ATC akorát od chvíle co jsem vyletěl z Polska byli dva řídící na jedno letadlo jeden na Baltic control a druhej na Riga_APP >.< a jak tak koukam tak 4.6 asi nebudu schopen účasti ale určitě tam naleťte v co nejvyšším počtu vítaná změna proti CZ/SK/DE
