Air danubius Event invitation - Down the Danube 4 - Bucharest RealOps 04-04-2015 from 1700z to 2200z
BOOKING OPEN to RealOps on Bucharest LROP 4th of April 2015
Dear virtual aviation colleague,,
Air Danubius VA would like to invite you to join us in celebrating our 4-year anniversary, to an evening that has become a yearly tradition in the VATSIM skies.
For this occasion, we have prepared 2 special events on April 4th, between 17z and 22z.
- Down the Danube 4 - following the course of the Danube river from Bavaria in Germany all the way to the Black Sea
- LROP Real Ops - simulating an evening of activity at Romania's largest and busiest airport
Swan Alliance ATC controllers will support us and provide coverage at LROP and a other airports around Romania (such as LRTR) - including real-world controllers.
From VFR flights (following the Danube, discovering the Carpathian mountains) to IFR flights (domestic and international), to even Military Professional Controlled Airspace Special Operations, all pilots are welcome.

The website is also where you'll find our booking system. While bookings are encouraged and will be given priority (especially for the Real Ops part of the event), crashing the party is also welcome

The Team of "Down The Danube 4 - LROP Bucuresti Otopeni Real Ops" Event 4th edition 2014
After a successful “Real Ops – Down The Danube 3? last year, which counted over 100 movements in Bucharest, we are happy to welcome you all to this year’s Edition – which we hope will be even bigger.
In preparation for the event. please use the lists on http://realops.airdanubius.eu to book a slot into and/or out of Bucharest.
The flights available simulate an evening of operations at LROP (Bucharest Otopeni “Henri Coanda” International Airport), and, to give you sufficient options, include codeshares.
Booking a slot should give you an extra level of realism, and the controllers will do their best to make sure your are on .
That being said though, pilots without booked slots are welcome to join the fun, but may experience some delays or landed on request on a nearby airport LRBS Baneasa.
Also on this edition any charter flights will be landed on the LRBS Baneasa Airport which was specialy designed in real life for this kind of flights.
So join us on Saturday , April 04th 2015, between 17z and 22z. We look forward to seeing you and celebrating together.
