VATSIM Scandinavia welcomes the world's pilots to the inaugural edition of the largest event of the year in the far north. For 12 hours on 9th November starting at 10z, our controllers will light up the Bridge between Continents, covering all the airspace between Scandinavia & North America and the North Atlantic all the way to the North Pole. That's over 5.5 million square kilometres to fly over!

Contrast fiery volcanoes and black lava fields with glaciers and sparkling fjords in Iceland. Watch that speck of land grow larger and larger as you approach the secluded Faroe Islands in the middle of the North Sea. Or head over vast frozen landscapes to some of the remotest airports in Greenland. Who knows, you might even spot the elusive Northern Lights?

Fancy a longer flight? Depart from our international airports at Keflavik, Vágar and Kangerlussuaq to any destination within range of your favourite jet. Or try to cross the pond in a new style, with full radar coverage from Europe to North America. No position reports required!

Whether you choose to fly within our bridge, in/out of it, or just over it, there'll be something for everyone.

Click here to visit our website to book your flight and read the pilot briefing.

Note: Radar coverage only available in the BIRD_CTR corridor and only above FL195 over Greenland. Below FL195 in Greenland, ATC may be intermittent throughout the event. Position reports required under BICC_FSS (High Arctic) and BGGL_FSS (below FL195 Greenland).
